Laboratory handling
Lab guide
For in-vitro laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary use. Not a drug, food, or cosmetic.
Scope of this guide
This page describes laboratory handling of lyophilized peptide reagents: storage, documentation, and in-vitro standard preparation in outline only.
It is not a clinical protocol, not a reconstitution-for-injection guide, and not advice on administration to humans or animals.
On arrival
Inspect the outer carton, the temperature logger if packed, and the vial seal before placing material into laboratory storage.
If the seal is broken or the logger failed, photograph the package and contact Pepvault within the 30-day sealed-vial window. Do not open a compromised vial into a working stock.
Storage
Keep sealed lyophilized vials at the temperature on the COA, typically −20 °C, dry and dark.
Do not store opened vials without the receiving laboratory’s own stability method. Pepvault does not publish in-use periods for reconstituted solutions.
Documentation
File the lot COA with HPLC purity, MS identity, sequence, and net content. Traceability is the reason the paperwork exists.
Pepvault does not provide certificates that speak to biological activity, endotoxin beyond what is printed, or fitness for a particular assay — that is the lab’s validation.
Starter kit contents
A starter kit is the selected lyophilized vial, 10 mL bacteriostatic laboratory water (0.9% benzyl alcohol), and 10 sealed sterile laboratory needles.
The water is for reconstituting an analytical standard on the bench. The needles are for transferring that standard into assay vessels, plates, or HPLC vials. Neither is supplied for injection or administration.
Pepvault does not include volumes, doses, routes, or expected effects. Method development belongs to the purchasing laboratory.
What this guide will not cover
Doses, frequencies, injection routes, stacking, cycles, reconstitution volumes for administration, or expected effects in people or animals.
If you were looking for those, this catalog is the wrong supplier.
